At Automationtechies, we work with a variety of clients to help them find the best available talent for their automation related positions. We do our part to screen candidates before presenting them, then it’s up to our clients to make the final decision regarding technical competency, personality and cultural fit. Part of this process may involve using hiring tests.

Our clients often ask us what types of tests they should use, or if we know what other companies are using. To find out, we conducted a survey and 145 of our Control System Integrator clients completed it. We presented them with seven common categories of tests, asking whether they utilize each to assess candidates. We also asked for specific names of the tests or descriptions of them.
