This position will design and develop industrial automation systems. You will be involved in the design, development and commissioning process for PLC and HMI implementations. Great benefits, some paid overtime and the opportunity to grow your career!

Requirements:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering is preferred, AS in Engineering with applicable experience, or equivalent design and programming experience.
  • 3+ years of Allen Bradley RSLogix PLC programming experience from scratch, required HMI programming experience.
  • Systems integration experience, food/beverage, paper or similar industries.
  • Process controls and/or machine controls experience (experience with more than one type of machine)
  • Ability to travel, typically up to 10-15%.
  • Ability to communicate and work with clients and in a team environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft® Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Google® Suite – including Gmail, Sheets, Docs, and Drive.
  • 3+ years of experience programming with Rockwell PLC and FactoryTalk HMI platforms is required.
  • Familiarity with other platforms such as Siemens, Wonderware, and Ignition is beneficial.
  • Ability to work within a dynamic team environment and with a variety of customers.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and program a variety of industrial process control systems that integrate new and existing hardware and software.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair customers’ control systems as required.
  • Programming of PLCs, HMIs, Servos, and VFDs.
  • Understand UL 508A control panel construction and design requirements.
  • Support sales by meeting with customers about project opportunities and providing estimates of hardware costs and development time.
