As a Senior Automation Assembly Technician, your main role is to assemble custom automation systems using 2D prints and electrical schematics provided by our engineering team. You’ll work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers, manage production tasks, and lead troubleshooting efforts. Your expertise will help us ensure the successful delivery of our projects.
Day to day duties:
– Assemble machinery, fabricated parts, and electrical components based on engineering designs.
– Manage production tasks and assist with project work.
– Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams and blueprints, to guide assembly.
– Use hand and power tools to align, fit, and assemble component parts.
– Build ethernet connections and install sensors.
– Maintain technical and operational documentation.
– Conduct quality inspections to ensure product integrity.
– Perform preventive or corrective maintenance.
– Collaborate with team members, utilizing creative problem-solving skills.
– Prepare finished products for shipment and assist with on-site installations.
– Act as a resource to others in the team.

Here’s what you need to be qualified:
– High School Diploma or GED.
– Basic ability in mathematics, reading, and writing.
– Proficiency in software, including Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365.
– Experience with hand tools and fabrication equipment.
– Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a team.
– Capability to maintain and perform basic equipment repairs.
– One year of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related fields.
– Ability to cut to size and assemble t-slot frames.
– Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical wiring.
– Experience with basic electrical assembly, including ethernet connections and sensor placement.
It would be great if you had these experiences / qualifications:
– Associate’s degree in a technical field, preferably in automation systems and robotics.
– Experience with assembly tools and materials.
– Previous experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment.
– Demonstrated expertise in electronics assembly, soldering, and torque-controlled devices.
– Proven experience in root-cause analysis and troubleshooting.
– Strong background in quality control and process improvement.
