Seeking a SCADA/ Instrumentation and Control Supervisor for water and wastewater facilities to design, program, implement and troubleshoot SCADA and Instrumentation and Controls.

This position will oversee the SCADA/Instrumentation & Controls function, coordinating and planning enhancements, researching, developing, programming, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining instrumentation for a variety of data acquisition, SCADA, radio communication, instrumentation and control equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Instrumentation & Control Specialists team.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the IT department, and water/wastewater department team leaders to ensure needs are being met.
  • Direct and prioritize that projects and needs are being met.
  • Assess the current state of the systems and develop a plan for improvements.
  • Plan, research, develop and recommend enhancements.
  • Program and install pertinent hardware/software to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Manage, calibrate and test systems instrumentations.
  • Troubleshooting complex problems.
  • Gather, interpret, and analyze data.
  • Assist with instrumentation and equipment specification.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, electronic engineering or related technical field is desired.
  • Six years related experience in electronic or technical support of LAN/WAN based SCADA networks, preferably with FactoryTalk.
  • Experience with HMI and PLC programing.
  • Experience, training and/or course work in the operation of analytical instrumentation. Supervisory, lead, or project management experience.
  • Valid, current Driver’s License is required.
