Sales Engineer – Automation

Great opportunity in automation sales if you are in MN, ND or SD! Our client is looking for a remote Account Manager! This is an established territory that is only open due to a retirement. If you enjoy working with customers to help them understand and improve their manufacturing process, this is an opportunity for you!
If you are located in the Midwest the travel is typically expected to be up to 50%.
This technical, full-time position involves the creation and execution of a territory plan providing and delivering necessary business growth for the territory. In this role you will manage and build new relationships with key customers.
· Technical background with at least 3 years of experience selling automation systems or solutions.
· Ability to discuss overall business to business sales with customers.
· Willing to learn about product line and software.
· The successful candidate will be comfortable with technology and a technical sales approach.
· Information gathering is a key part of this role.
· Preferred location is MN, ND, SD or IA, travel will typically be up to 50% overnight.
