We are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager with a background in Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) to join their team. This role is pivotal in developing and expanding our distribution network nationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the distribution network for VFD products.
- Identify and establish relationships with key distribution partners and potential clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of regional sales managers and representatives.
- Provide training and support to the sales team to ensure they have the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture through regular performance reviews and goal setting.
- Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and markets for VFD products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, distributors, and partners.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales and promotional materials.
- Distribution Management:
- Oversee the development and management of the distribution network.
- Ensure effective and efficient distribution of products to meet customer demand.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with distributors and key clients.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a national sales management role, preferably within the VFD or related industry.
- Strong background in developing and managing distribution networks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and data to drive strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel nationally as required.
