They predominantly supply equipment and services to the Rubber and Plastics Industries, ensuring high-quality solutions for industrial manufacturing companies.

The Mechanical Designer will have 2 goals:  Mechanical Design and Project Management.

Mechanical Design: Design free standing light industrial machinery involving a number of elements listed below.

  • Weldments
  • Sheet Metal
  • Fabricated components
  • Pneumatics
  • Motion components – bearings, rails, shafts, belts, pulleys, chains, motors
  • Incorporating electrical control devices

Project Management: You will work closely with purchasing, production and engineering to drive customer projects through to completion and shipment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related design experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Experience with design of light industrial machinery
  • Computer skills – PC literate.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized – able to manage multiple projects at different stages
