Inside Sales Representative

A global company specializing in infrared security devices and photoelectric sensors for Industrial Automation is looking to add an Inside Sales Representative to their team!


  • Manage purchase orders, follow up on inquiries, provide lead time, and delivery schedule to customers
  • Provide order and shipment status to the customer
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss and advise best products to use for specific applications
  • Negotiate or adjust the pricing structure depending on the market and the exchange rate
  • Prepare and submit quotes and purchase orders
  • Manage inventory and participate in year-end inventory
  • Pack and ship products
  • Create monthly sales reports by extracting and analyzing sales data from CRM
  • Coordinate with the International sales department in Japan as well as the shipping company
  • Communicate with the factory to get the right product information for the specific application
  • Create list price and discount structure
  • Attend trade show once or twice per year
  • Visit customers to evaluate needs or to promote products and services
  • Create training materials and conduct product training for customers
  • Provide support in product promotion efforts and campaigns


  • College degree preferred or relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Industrial sensors or electrical background is preferred
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with people outside of the organization, representing the organization to customers and other external sources
  • Experience in quote preparation and order entering preferred
  • Positive Attitude and willingness to learn
