Lead Industrial Controls Projects From Start to Finish
Our client is growing and seeking an experienced Industrial Project Manager to join its Industrial Controls team in Raleigh. This is an opportunity for an electrical or industrial controls professional who knows how to manage people, budgets, schedules, customers, and technical projects from kickoff through closeout.

What You’ll Do
- Manage industrial controls projects, trades, budgets, schedules, and customer requirements.
- Lead projects from initial scope through successful completion and closeout.
- Provide technical and management guidance to project teams and field personnel.
- Develop scope proposals based on project estimates.
- Coordinate equipment and material purchasing.
- Monitor project performance, profitability, timelines, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and resolve project issues before they impact cost or schedule.
- Lead and coordinate teams of 10+ employees.
- Attend customer, jobsite, and internal project meetings.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, employees, contractors, and business partners.
- Track sales activities and forecast opportunities through CRM.
- Visit customer locations and jobsites regularly.
- Promote a strong culture of safety on every project.
What You Bring
- 7+ years of electrical industrial controls or related trade experience.
- High school diploma.
- Industrial automation and controls integration experience.
- Knowledge of UL 508A panel shop solutions.
- Ability to read and understand electrical control and power schematics.
- Understanding of electrical design and engineering estimates.
- Experience with industrial manufacturing and/or food processing applications.
- Strong project scheduling, financial management, and budgeting skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects and competing deadlines.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Electrical installation, systems integration, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Google Workspace.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- OSHA-30 certification required within six months of hire if not already certified.
