Job Responsibilities
- Generate and revise complex assembly, weldment, and component detail drawings per the master Model layout or go-by drawing.
- Modify standard models to meet customer requirements by increasing or reducing the size of components, the design of minor new components, and verifying all elements for fit, form, and function.
- Manage budgeted hours and timelines to complete assignments on schedule.
- Provide support activities to include:
- Loading BOMs and drawings into SAP to fill replacement parts orders in a timely fashion.
- Making drawing corrections.
Qualifications
- Perform complex mechanical engineering drafting and design work in Inventor or SolidWorks. AutoCAD.
- Machinery design experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of sheet metal and welding practices.
- 3+ years of experience with mechanical and engineering drafting.
- Engineering Technology Degree (a plus) or technical coursework in engineering design and drafting.
