Join our client’s expanding team as a Controls Engineer, where you’ll ensure the reliability and functionality of machinery and systems, driving productivity and maintaining high-quality and safety standards.

What You’ll Do:

  • Evaluate Systems: Analyze existing plant processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop Solutions: Design and modify programs for machinery, robotics, and third-party integration.
  • Address Issues: Troubleshoot hardware and processes related to motion control, servo controls, and HMI.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, technicians, and service professionals.
  • Maintain Standards: Ensure structured program formats for ease of understanding and consistency.

What You Bring:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electrical, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Professional Experience: 2-4 years in automation and robotics.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Knowledge of motion control, servo controls, HMI, and packaging equipment.
    • Understanding of machine motion terminology.
    • Proficiency in Allen Bradley, Fanuc, or PLC programming is preferred.
    • AutoCAD experience is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong cause-effect analysis capabilities to solve complex problems.
  • Communication: Excellent skills for effective collaboration and troubleshooting.
