Our client is a full-service automation integrator providing industrial control solutions for small to large clients in a wide range of industries. They offer a full range of project services including conceptual design, detailed engineering, project management, software development, control panel design and fabrication, installation supervision, training, and startup services.
As a member of a highly collaborative organization, the Controls Engineer will be an integral part of the team to provide complete automated solutions specializing in SCADA, PLC and custom-built panels.
Controls Engineer Responsibilities:
- Implement solution-based control systems and present the solution to customers.
- Provide technical support to customers.
- Participate as a team member working toward the project success.
- Interpret customer requirements, address design and engineering parameters, and ensure solutions are implemented accurately.
- Support internal and external resources to ensure timely delivery and quality of projects.
Controls Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 1 years experience designing and programming process control systems.
- Basic understanding of automation.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs preferred.
- SCADA experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Aveva (Wonderware), or VTScada helpful.
- Basic knowledge of control and electrical systems and their application in automated industrial design.
- Proactive, highly motivated, self-starter, resourceful.
- Ability to multitask.
- Professional Registration, Microsoft certifications or other industry recognized certifications are a plus.
