Low overnight travel position north of Wichita, KS! Work with customers to help them troubleshoot and service their equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to install, maintain, and service automated production equipment.
  • Monitors the operation of machines and provides instructions to other workers on how to operate and maintain the machinery.
  • Operates manufacturing equipment and diagnoses any malfunctions of the equipment.
  • Identifies and suggests various equipment that can be used to carry out relevant operations.
  • Carries out various support functions such as preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment.
  • Perform service and provide advice and recommendations to customers as requested.
  • Conform to codes, rules, regulations and safety standards associated with company protocol, state and federal regulations.
  • Document time and materials.

Requirements:

At least 2 years’ experience with one or more of the following:

  • A strong background in electronics/electrics, hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC equipment, and PLC operation is required.
  • PLC troubleshooting experience.
  • Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision.
  • Recognize problems, identify possible causes and resolve routine problems.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Skilled with commissioning, trouble-shooting and upgrades.
