Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, program, implement, and commission Automated Controls Systems
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and material lists for projects
- Coordinate and maintain a positive relationship with customers, vendors, and suppliers
- Coordinate and provide all information necessary to the installation crews to facilitate and expedite quality installations of the control systems
- Lead assigned support staff and associates to execute project deliverables
- Assists Principal Controls Engineer on specific projects or portions of projects as assigned
- Timely reporting of labor hours and materials used to ensure prompt and accurate job costs and customer invoicing
- Attend trade show conferences and seminars as deemed appropriate
- Pursue ongoing formal education, as appropriate, including but not limited to attending classes, outside study, and testing.
- Perform duties in a safe, thorough, and profitable manner to the satisfaction of the customer
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- BSEE or related engineering degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in relevant field
- Experience in programming PLCs and HMI systems (Allen Bradley)
- Experience in drafting software preferably AUTOCAD/AUTOCAD Electrical
- Ability to travel 25% – 30%
Nice to haves:
- Experience with power systems, drive systems, industrial communications, and OPC connectivity
- Experience across multiple PLC and HMI platforms
- Relevant hardware design, programming, and implementation experience in the Food & Beverage industry
